Metropolitan Furniture is pleased to announce that we are now open and no appointments required as of June 8, 2020. Our dedicated team has worked hard to implement safety precautions in our showroom and our warehouse over the last several weeks.
We understand that buying furniture means interacting with the furniture and your sales associate. While it is our sincere intention to give you the best possible service, there will be limitations in place to ensure the safety of everyone.
Here is what you can expect when you visit our showroom:
We are a large store with a small staff, not like the big box stores. This gives you the assurance that you won’t be crowded or pressured.
Our hours of operation during the week (Monday to Friday) will be 10am to 4pm, and Saturday 10am to 5pm. If you need an after hours appointment, that can be arranged as well. Just call the store at 313-381-2515 and ask for Frank or Cheryl.
We will only allow a limited number of customers in our store at one time. If visiting us as a group, we ask that you please limit your group to 4 members per household.
We have thoroughly cleaned and sanitized our showroom to give you a sense of security as you shop.
We ask that you sanitize your hands at the entrance and practice social distancing at all times while in the store.
Our staff will be wearing PPE while service you at a safe distance. We ask that you wear protective covering over your face as well while in the store. If needed, disposable masks can be provided upon request.
It is our intent to make your shopping experience at Metropolitan Furniture as enjoyable as always. The one thing that does remain constant is our aim to provide you with the best showroom experience Downriver has to offer. And you know what? We have the best team available to do this!!
